As the world's most precious artefacts start disappearing, the bumbling Inspector Clouseau (Steve Martin) is called upon to join an international team of experts and track down the master thief. On the hunt with him are smooth-talking Italian sleuth Vincenzo (Andy Garcia), English deductive reasoning specialist Pepperidge (Alfred Molina), and Japanese whiz kid Kenji (Yuki Matsuzaki), who relies on advanced technology to track the bad guys. Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai is a late addition to the crew; Jean Reno is back as Clouseau's hapless assistant, and stepping into Kevin Kline's shoes as Clouseau's long-suffering boss is John Cleese.
