This creative adaptation of the famous Charles Perrault tale, by Olivier Dahan ('La Vie en Rose'), follows a boy who is cruelly rejected by his peasant parents and constantly bullied by his four elder brothers. Following the outbreak of civil war, he and his siblings are left to fend for themselves in an enchanted forest, where they encounter dangerous predators hiding in every dark corner. With Romane Bohringer, Elodie Bouchez, Catherine Deneuve and Nils Hugon as Tom.
