Universal first added a lycanthrope to its stable of screen monsters with "Werewolf of London" (1935), starring Henry Hull as a botanist who is attacked in Tibet by a wolfman and returns to his native England to find he has inherited the mark of the beast. Warner Oland and Valerie Hobson co-star. Then, the foggy streets of London are again ravaged by a bloodthirsty creature, and a young woman fears she may have inherited her family's curse and is responsible for the killings, in "She-Wolf of London" (1946). June Lockhart, Don Porter and Sara Haden star.
