The Howling

A female TV news reporter is sent to a strange California encounter-group community to recover from a sexual trauma, unaware that virtually everyone there is a werewolf. A hip, well-made film full of horror film-buff in-jokes and Rob Bottin's amazing wolf transformations. Screenplay by John Sayles and Terence H. Winkless; from the novel by Gary Brandner.
