Just when you thought you'd seen every type of hero...along come a bunch of guinea pigs. First-time director Hoyt Yeatman, an award-winning visual effects artist, got the idea for his pint-size furry fighters from his son who was feeling the void of his favourite rodents on screen. The result was this comic adventure about a highly-trained, elite squad of guineas who are called up to save the world from an evil billionaire who plans to take control of the earth via small appliances. Playing characters in the real world are Bill Nighy, Will Arnett and Zach Galifianakis, while voice talent duties go to Sam Rockwell, Tracy Morgan, Penelope Cruz, Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi and Jon Favreau.
