Fortune

Entertaining and well-written film, set in New York, about a suicidal psychiatrist interrupted during his attempt to end his life by the son of his wealthiest patient. The young man insists he needs urgent help and he simply won't take no for an answer. Pacy and full of humour, Australian-born actor Peter Scarf makes his directorial debut with this script which he also co-wrote. Scott Cohen stars as the depressed shrink, and Keir Dullea (who shot to fame in Stanley Kubrick's '2001') is the wealthy pop with a troubled son.
