Aka "Trop Tard". Dumitru Costa (Razvan Vasilescu), a young trainee Public Prosecutor, is given his first investigation - the suspicious death of a miner in the Jiu Valley, in modern Romania. Accident or crime? Two other miners are killed and the relentless enquiry led by Costa starts to upset the local authorities. The managers of the mine fear unrest among the miners, who represent a political force the government wishes to control. The officials do all they can to smother the matter. As the truth is revealed, Costa realizes that nobody, absolutely nobody wants this truth...
