Two's company, three's a crowd and eight is definitely way more than enough in writer-director Daniele Thompson's ("Orchestra Seats") comic ensembler, "Change of Plans." The film follows four forty-something couples who spend one summer night's dinner gabbing about love, life and extramarital relationships. Anxiety is hidden behind humour, sorrows smothered by bursts of laughter and, for a few hours, it's all make believe! That's the main thing. So long as they follow the right rules of conduct and respect one another, chances are they'll have an enjoyable evening of cordiality and hypocrisy. But the masks will fall as soon as everyone heads home.
