The Harder They Come
Jimmy Cliff is Ivan, a country boy who comes to the city to make a record and get his share of that pie up in the sky. But it isn't until he shoots a cop and becomes a fugitive from the law that he gets his sought-after notoriety, proving that you can get it if you really want to. The pulsating reggae soundtrack features Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, and Desmond Dekker. The first genuine Jamaican film.
