'Green for Danger' (1946) Mysterious goings on in a war-time emergency hospital. A postman dies on the operating table. A theatre sister is then viciously murdered. Scotland Yard sends an Inspector who slowly realises that each of the remaining suspects has an excellent motive for the murders, but he must reconstruct the crime to reveal the true identity of the killer Trevor Howard and Alastair Sim. 'Venetian Bird' (1952) Private Detective Edward Mercer arrives in Venice to perform the simple task of finding a woman to whom a reward has been promised for helping an Allied airman. He soon discovers that Venice, with its winding waterways and secret passages holds many dark secrets into which he is drawn. Richard Todd and Eva Bartok star. 'Nothing But The Night' (1973) A Policeman's suspicions are aroused after the deaths of three elderly and wealthy trustees of an orphanage. Shortly after the orphan children are in a bus crash that kills the driver. In hospital a doctor treating one of the surviving children is found murdered. The Policeman is faced with a race against time to solve the crimes. Chistopher Lee and Peter Cushing star.
