Tomorrow, When the War Began

Ellie (Caitlin Stasey) and her friends are in the last year of high school, living in a small, quiet town where it seems life will never change. They head out on a lighthearted camping trip for a few days and return to find their town deserted. Their families have disappeared, the phones don't work, the power's gone out. Soon, the horrible realisation becomes all too clear: while they were away a foreign army has invaded and now they must band together to survive, and fight back. Based on the beloved series of books by John Marsden, this film is the first in a planned trilogy.
