The Killer Inside Me
Based on the 1952 Jim Thompson novel, director Michael Winterbottom's ("A Mighty Heart") disturbing crime drama follows the self-told story of outwardly polite Texas deputy sheriff Lou Ford (Casey Affleck), who takes to brutality like a bee to honey shortly after he's sent to meet with a local prostitute (Jessica Alba). While maintaining a mask of innocence, Ford's crimes grow, unrestrained by matters of conscience. With Ned Beatty, Kate Hudson.
