Based on the harrowing true story, this gripping drama from director/co-writer Danny Boyle ("Slumdog Millionaire") follows mountain-climbing enthusiast Aron Ralston (James Franco) into the Utah wilderness, where he becomes trapped under a fallen canyon boulder. With no means of escape nor signaling for rescue, Ralston endures five brutal days of isolation that trigger memories of friends and family while he contemplates taking unthinkable actions to survive.
