Life During Wartime

Controversial writer-director Todd Solondz described this darkly comic drama as his 'quasi-sequel' to 'Happiness,' in that it elaborates upon the stories of some of the same characters, somewhat transformed and portrayed by new actors. While a young woman (Shirley Henderson) is haunted by the ghost (Paul Reubens) of a man she met on a terrible blind date, a pedophile (Ciaran Hinds) on parole tries to reunite with his son. With Allison Janney, Michael Lerner, and Ally Sheedy.
