Offering a rare glimpse into little-seen aspects of Chinese society, this documentary looks at the annual migration of urban workers,130 million strong, who travel by train back to their home villages for Lunar New Year festivities. The film focuses on a married couple who live in dormitories and work in a Guangzhou clothing factory as they return to rural Sichuan province to be with their children and the grandmother raising them.
