The Natural History Museum attracts nearly 4 million visitors every year, has 8000 visiting scientists, 70 million specimens, 350 resident experts and contains examples of 90% of the worlds known natural diversity. It has a world wide reputation that is genuinely second to none. By securing unrivalled access to the Natural History Museum, BBC Wales wants to bring all of these world class scientists, their work, their stories and their mission to genuinely explain what and why there is just so much of everything out there - to as wide an audience as possible. The series will embrace all of the extraordinary work of the Natural History Museum  both front of house, behind the scenes and out in the field. This will be a series packed with adventure, excitement, observation and a lot of knowledge, as told by the scientists pursuing it.
