A powerful portrait of a man struggling with sex addiction from acclaimed director Steve McQueen ("Hunger"). Brandon (Michael Fassbender), a lonely New York bachelor, lives a carefully-concealed second life revolving around excessive levels of casual sex, prostitutes, pornography and masturbation. When his sister (Carey Mulligan) arrives unannounced to stay with him, seeking refuge from her own troubles, Brandon's life starts to unravel as his dark and shameful secrets are revealed.
