Magic Mike
Testosterone-fueled dramedy follows 30-year-old construction worker/male stripper Mike Lane (Channing Tatum) as he spends his nights entertaining ladies at a club run by driven businessman Dallas (Matthew McConaughey). After he takes young slacker Adam (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing, Mike finds his new friendship and career threatened when his protege gets mixed up with drugs. Steven Soderbergh directed from a script by Reid Carolin, whose screenplay was inspired by Tatum's work as a stripper before he made it in Hollywood.
