Gretchen Mol flashes her cheekiest grin (and more) as infamous 1950s pin-up and spanking sex kitten, Bettie Page. Writer/Director Mary Harron traces her life from an abusive childhood, through her reign as Queen of the Locker Room Pin-Up, to her rejection of her past and re-dedication to her Christian faith. Steering clear of sentimentality and sensationalism, this is an enchanting and innocently saucy biopic with a supporting cast that includes David Strathairn and Lili Taylor.
