Love in a Cold Climate

Based on Nancy Mitford's beloved novel - a part thinly-veiled memoir, part biting satire and part fascinating window on a vanished way of life - this witty drama from the BBC follows the romantic adventures of three young women from aristocratic families in pre-World War II London. Linda (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh), Polly (Megan Dodds) and Fanny (Rosamund Pike) are dedicated to the pursuit of love and attempt to break free of convention as war descends on Europe. Their quest brings them disappointment, heartache but also contentment and joy.
