The Woodlanders

This cinematic dip into the works of Thomas Hardy deals with the aspirations of a woodsman (Rufus Sewell) in landing his boss' daughter (Emily Woof) for his wife. She however has higher ambitions in this tale of heart-break and tragedy. Like many other Thomas Hardy stories, centers around impossible romances and class difficulties in Victorian England.
