Tim Burton adapted his 1984 live-action short film for this black & white stop-motion animated tale that follows young monster movie fanatic Victor as he becomes grief-stricken when his beloved dog Sparky is hit and killed by a car. After Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life - with just a few minor adjustments - he tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor must convince his family and neighbour's that his bolt-necked canine isn't a monster. With a nod to Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', this is an offbeat but heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. With the voices of Charlie Tahan, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, and Winona Ryder.
