The Nightmare Before Christmas
A wonderfully bizarre and visually stunning Yuletide treat from Tim Burton, who uses stop-motion animation to tell the story of Jack Skellington, the bored Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. When he accidentally discovers Christmas Town, Jack decides to kidnap Santa Claus and take charge of the holiday in his own spooky style. Catherine O'Hara, Chris Sarandon, and Danny Elfman (who also composed the score) supply voices.
