Lolita ( Blu-ray )

Director Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov's classic novel captures the author's black humour with ghoulish understatement. James Mason plays college professor Humbert Humbert who marries lonely widow Charlotte Haze (Shelley Winters) purely out of lust for her adolescent daughter, Lolita (Sue Lyon). Co-starring Peter Sellers, delightfully sinister as the ubiquitous Clare Quilty.
