The Flemish Farm

Based on a true story, this classic war drama poignantly conveys the pain of war. During WWII a squadron of Belgian pilots uses a Flemish farm as a landing base. Matagne, one of the pilots, has been injured and is cared for by Treschsa, the farmer's daughter. The two are very much in love, and when it is announced that Belgium must surrender to Germany, they are instructed to flee for England.
