In "Weekend of a Champion", film director and motor-racing fan Roman Polanski spends a weekend with Formula 1 champion driver Jackie Stewart as he attempts to win the Monaco Grand Prix in 1971. Given unprecedented access, Polanski travels around the track with Stewart and investigates what it takes to be a champion. In a 10-minute coda made 40 years later in 2012, Polanski and Stewart meet up once again to discuss the changes they've seen over the years, supplying their own unique perspective on where the sport stands today.
