Tommy Kovack is a hard-nosed racing driver until a sudden supernatural vision causes a near-fatal crash. He is further shaken from the bizarre event when Michele Brent convinces him the visions he experienced are highly significant and is soon inexplicably drawn into the lives of a glamorous film star and her daughter as his consciousness swings wildly through dimensions of reality and illusion, life and death.
