Dead of Night
Michael Redgrave stars in this chilling suspense classic that follows a group of visitors to a remote country manor as they relate their nightmares to one another. Each segment was based on a different short story and directed by a different director - the 'Golfing Story' by HG Wells, the 'Hearse Driver' is from EG Benson, the 'Haunted Mirror' and 'Ventriloquist's Dummy' are by John Baines who co-wrote the screenplay with the 'Christmas Story' writer, Angus MacPhail.
