The Secret Life of Pets ( Blu-ray )
The pets of New York City have a special existence when their owners leave for the day, enjoying hobbies, food, and one anothers company, building friendships. Max (Louis C.K.) is an especially loyal dog to owner Katie (Ellie Kemper), but his reign as the only friend in his apartment comes to an end with the arrival of Duke (Eric Stonestreet), a massive pooch ready to mark his territory. Competing for dominance, Max and Duke end up on the street, accidentally triggering the wrath of a gang of cats, which eventually attracts attention from the animal cops. Locked up and sent to the pound, travel is disrupted by rabbit Snowball (Kevin Hart) and his group of unloved animals, who share their underground realm with the bewildered dogs. Back at the apartment building, Maxs secret admirer, neighbor Gidget (Jenny Slate), embarks on a rescue mission, encountering the dubious ways of hawk Tiberius (Albert Brooks), who wants to help with the hunt.
