The Banksy Job

Forget Casino. Forget Oceans Eleven. Forget Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The latest heist film that has everyone talking is The Banksy Job, a new flick that follows art terrorist AK47 as he plans to steal a piece of Central London artwork by Banksy. The best part? Its all true. According to AK47 (real name: Andy Link), he was inspired to take on the worlds most famous street artist because Banksy refused to sign a print for him. His epic form of retaliation was to kidnap Banksys The Drinker (a replica of Rodins The Thinker with a traffic cone on its head) in broad daylight. He then sent a note to a reporter claiming to represent a group of art terrorists called ART KIEDA and demanded a ransom for the statue. If you think thats weird, wait til you hear what happened next. The Drinker mysteriously disappeared from AK47s possession a few months later. Did Banksy steal his snatched statue back?
