A Dog's Purpose (Blu-Ray)
After suffering through a few troubled lives, Bailey the dog (voiced by Josh Gad) finally reincarnates correctly, finding a home with farm boy Ethan (K.J. Apa). Developing an intense bond with the kid, Bailey is always there for his pal as he grows up in the 1960s, watching Ethan become a football star and take on a girlfriend in Hannah (Britt Robertson). Hes a content dog, but life has a way of disrupting expectations, finding old age pulling Bailey back into the afterlife, returning to Earth as a variety of canines throughout the decades, but Baileys consciousness remains, always hunting for a way back to Ethan and the simple life he once loved. However, Baileys journey is riddled with challenges to health and heart, leaving him with multiple owners who treat their new dog with varying levels of emotional interest.
