Letter From An Unknown Woman

Joan Fontaine stars in this classic tearjerker playing a lonely woman who is seduced and abandoned by pianist Louis Jourdan. She marries another, but learns she's carrying Jourdan's child. Set in turn of the century Vienna, this haunting tale is perhaps cinema's greatest unrequited love story and is considered to be one of Max Ophul's great masterpieces.
