Moonstruck
The winner of three Oscars; Set in Brooklyn, this charming, romantic, ethnic comedy involves a somewhat dowdy Cher involved with two brothers. She's engaged to Danny Aiello but in love with Nicolas Cage. Her parents, Olympia Dukakis and Vincent Gardenia, have their own problems, but wish her the best. Screenplay by John Patrick Shanley.
