Mrs Miniver

The winner of seven Oscars in 1942 was an effective morale boost for all the folks on the home front. Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon head a middle-class English family under siege and worry about their son in the RAF. Garson later married the actor who played her son, Richard Ney. Based on Jan Struther's novel.
