On the Black Hill

A rare, lovingly crafted film set in Wales and spanning 85 years in the life of a farming family. Twins are born to a Welsh farmer (Bob Peck) and his middle-class, English wife at the turn of the century. The twins are inseperable and together survive their puritanical upbringing, two wars and financial and emotional hardship. At the opening of the film, the twins, now 80 years old, are awaiting the arrival of their only heir, their grand-nephew Kevin.
