Prime Cut
Lee Marvin, Gene Hackman, and a young Sissy Spacek star in a rough and tumble, misanthropic crime thriller with an unmistakably '70's feel. Marvin plays a Chicago mob enforcer who's sent to Kansas City to collect on a debt. There he's introduced to a vicious pimp (Hackman), a local tough who grinds his enemies into sausage (Gregory Walcott), and a pretty young girl caught in the crosshairs (Spacek). Michael Ritchie's macho thriller also boasts a terrific chase sequence in which Marvin and Spacek try to outrun a deadly threshing machine.
