Reservoir Dogs
Writer-director Quentin Tarantino makes a startling debut with this story of a diamond heist gone wrong. A brain-twisting array of unexpected plot turns make this one of the best crime-thrillers ever made. The superb cast includes Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Steve Buscemi. The obscure title comes from the combination of two of Tarantino's favourite films, 'Straw Dogs' and 'Au Revoir Les Enfants' which he had always referred to as 'that reservoir film'.
