The Sea Hawk
Errol Flynn at his finest plays dashing privateer, Geoffrey Thorpe, hired by Her Majesty Elizabeth I (Flora Robson) to make life miserable for any Spanish galleons he comes across, that is until he picks up Spanish Royal, Dona Maria (Brenda Marshall) and goes completely gaga. It's safe to say Elizabeth isn't amused. Two life-size ships were constructed for filming in this Flynn's 10th collaboration with director Michael Curtiz ('Captain Blood', 'The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex').
