Sleeping Beauty (Disney)
Can handsome Prince Phillip rescue Princess Aurora and awaken her from the curse placed on her by the evil sorceress Maleficent? This adaptation of Charles Perrault's seventeenth century version of the famous fairy tale features storybook-style animation supervised by Walt Disney himself and belongs in any list of the best children's films. Tchaikovsky's timeless music, along with such original songs as "Once Upon a Dream," adds to the enjoyment.
