The Trial

An unnamed country. Joseph K. (Anthony Perkins) is awakened one morning by a man who tells him he is under arrest. Accused by everyone of a crime that is never specified, Joseph K. is caught in a nightmarish labyrinth of bureaucracy leading him to doubt his own innocence... This gripping psychological drama co-stars Jeanne Moreau, Elsa Martinelli, Romy Schneider and Orson Welles, who also directed and wrote the screenplay, based upon the novel by Franz Kafka.
