Ruth (Kate Winslet) goes to India in search of the exotic and falls under the spell of an Indian Guru. Her family imagine the worst so they hire a top American 'cult exit counsellor' (Harvey Keitel) to 'reprogram' her back. However, nothing seems to go to plan resulting in an all-out battle of the sexes.
