Get Real

Focusing on 16 year old Steven (Ben Silverstone), who, struggling with his homosexuality and the need to keep it a secret, is surprised when, while waiting at a local park to meet older men, he encounters popular schoolmate and star athlete Brad Gorton. Their tentative relationship, and the violence Silverstone meets with when he comes out in a magazine article, are movingly depicted in this emotional comedy/drama based on Patrick Wilde's play, "What's Wrong with Angry?"
