Girl, Interrupted
Based on Susanna Kaysen's best selling memoir of her two-year stay in a New England psychiatric hospital in the late '60s, this acclaimed drama stars Winona Ryder as a troubled teen who commits herself after a suicide attempt. The friendship of a rebellious fellow inmate (Best Supporting Actress Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie) and a no-nonsense nurse (Whoopi Goldberg) helps Ryder come to terms with her life and fight to reclaim her freedom.
