The Color of Paradise

This beautifully rendered film centers on an 8-year-old blind boy named Mohammad whose poor, widowed father has no interest in raising him. After he's taken in, along with his two sisters, by his grandmother, Mohammad is cared for by a blind carpenter who hopes to train the boy as his apprentice.
