Sunshine

Three generations of a Jewish family in 20th century Hungary are traced in this sweeping drama from director Istvan Szabo ("Mephisto"). Ralph Fiennes offers three remarkable performances - as a businessman and family patriarch; his son, who converts to Catholicism to become an Olympic fencer but falls victim to the Holocaust; and the grandson, a police officer serving under Communism.
