Body Heat

Attorney Ned Racine's life coasts along in neutral - until he meets a siren in white (with a well-to-do husband) named Matty Walker. Ned knows Matty is the kind of woman men would kill to be with. So he does. Kasdan's 'Body Heat', is a sexy, haunting tale echoing 1940's film noirs but charged with an energy and passion that could only have flared in the 80's. Kasdan's assured directorial debut foreshadows the emotional textures that he would bring to later films 'The Big Chill', 'The Accidental Tourist' and 'Grand Canyon'.
