Bande A Part
A.k.a. 'The Outsiders', 'Band of Outsiders'. One of Godard's more relaxed and enjoyable films, this spins a fast and loose tale as Franz and Arthur, a couple of streetwise characters, team up with the shy Odile to plan a robbery. Typically with Godard there are several diversions before the suspicion grows that this is one heist that is not going to go according to plan. Featuring Godard's regular leading lady Anna Karina. Adapted from the American novel 'Fool's Gold' by Dolores Hitchins.
