Stripped

Receiving enthusiastic receptions at Film Festival screenings, this documentary focuses on the gritty realities of a stripper's life. Writer/director Jill Morley introduces audiences to five women who worked the club scene with her during her lean years, with each of them discussing their reasons for working as a stripper. Most feel a certain amount of shame, anger or regret about their work, and all have had their lives changed in some way. Ground-floor insight of a world relegated to darkness and largely disregarded.
