We Were Soldiers

Stirring, true-life war epic starring Mel Gibson as Harold G Moore, a Harvard-educated lieutenant colonel who, in November 1965, led 400 American troops in the first major conflict between US soldiers and North Vietnamese. The results were disastrous as the men found themselves surrounded by 2,000 enemy soldiers in the La Drang Valley. With Madeleine Stowe, Chris Klein, Barry Pepper and Sam Elliott.
