From Dunedin filmmaker Phil Davison comes a gruesome comedy about grave robbery, racism, and headless vampire flatmate corpses. Lucy is almost finished research for her thesis on the DNA of the local Chinese community when she is denied access to her control DNA samples from China. Since the only way she can complete her thesis is to obtain samples from a long deceased Chinese corpse, she persuades her flatmates to commit grave robbery in the local cemetery. The five student flatmates exhume the corpse of a Chinese miner who died violently during the goldrush - and, as any student of Hong Kong cinema knows, a violent death can lead to the corpse becoming reanimated - as a vampire. Of course, anyone killed by the vampire will become a vampire in turn.
